Judge me by whats in my head, not whats on my head.

Wearing the scarf doesn’t reduce my intelligence nor does it shadow my personality. It doesn’t make me less sociable, nor does it make me more narrow minded. It doesn’t motivate me to ignore anyone who isn’t a muslim, nor does it make me hate those who are unislamic. It doesn’t silent my voice, nor does it make me blind. It doesn’t make me less beautiful than what I would be without wearing one.

Its a scarf, for my God. I wear it to get closer to my God and to help it guide me to a righteous path of peace for patience and truth.

Its not there for you to judge. Wearing the scarf is not a hard thing to do. Covering your hair and getting people to see your personality is not a hard thing to do. But when society and people who aren’t in our position mock it, it looses its meaning thus becomes hard. So please don’t judge the next girl who wears a scarf. She is a person. And just like you she has her knowledge, she has her interests, she has her beauty.
